2. Product characteristics
Good self-melting, can be applied to special waterproof and moisture-proof insulation sealing places, easy to stretch and wrap, strong plasticity, very convenient for wrapping irregular joints, forming extrusion and contraction effect; Can be used for outdoor operation, with PVC tape.
3. Main application
Waterproof and insulation protection at the joints of communication equipment base stations, antennas, feeders, etc. Waterproof and sealing of the ends and joints of communication cables; Reconstruction of urban distribution network, waterproof and sealed insulation of joints and branch clamps for overhead insulated lines; Cable joint treatment for underwater submersible motors, and joint treatment for geographical cables for urban street lamps; Mines, oil fields and chemical power facilities cannot use open flames.
4. Instructions for use
Clean the dust, oil and other sundries at the cable joint; unfold the adhesive tape, peel off the isolation paper and stretch the adhesive tape until the width narrows to the original 1/2~3/4; make the adhesive tape maintain a certain tensile strength and wrap it with 1/2 overlap. After winding, it is advisable to squeeze the adhesive tape at the covered part by hand, make the layers attached tightly without air gap in order to fully bond (pay attention to prevent fingertips from breaking the tape); In order to prevent the tape from being worn in the actual environment, PVC tape should be used in its outer layer. If necessary, the waterproof tape can be divided into different specifications so as to be suitable for other places.
